The Miami Dolphins signed offensive tackle 
Kopa was signed off the San Francisco 49ers practice squad where he had spent the first nine weeks of the 2010 NFL season. He was originally signed by San Francisco as an undrafted college free agent on June 8, 2010 and was with the 49ers during training camp prior to being released on September 3 and being signed to the practice squad two days later.
A four-year letter winner at Stanford (2006-09) he played in 35 career games with seven starts along the offensive line. Born February 25, 1987, Kopa attended Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove, CA.
