##After four days of practicing in full pads with a semblance of live tackling the players took it easier today by returning to shells. There was some light hitting in order to ensure that everyone was rested and healthy for tomorrow’s first scrimmage.

##Johnson apparently took it upon himself to get some work in on special teams with the punt returners and as a flyer in punt coverage. Head Coach Joe Philbin's son made him aware of this by his son after practice as he was watching another drill at the time.
## Cornerback Sean Smith conducted a live chat after practice with some fan websites. He fielded questions for 20 minutes as Tristin Jones of the Finsiders served as the host and live video was streamed online.
DOLPHINS AUDITIONING ANTHEM SINGERS: More than 400 people are expected to be on hand for an open audition as the Dolphins look for talented individual singers, groups and or musicians to perform the National Anthem at 2012 home games. The auditions will take place beginning at 9 a.m., in conjunction with the team’s open practice at Sun Life Stadium. Fans will play a role in the selection process, as they will have the opportunity to vote for the final anthem performer of the year. The winner of the fan vote will get to perform the National Anthem at the team’s final regular-season home game on December 23rd against the Buffalo Bills.
